Jericho is finally accepting his fate of confronting his father but things are not going to be as simple as anyone thinks.
Penultimate chapter and a lot of things are getting more intriguing.
Christopher Priest is preparing the finale for this series and run by developing the characters as usual. The issue is centered mostly around the relationship between Slade and Joey, about how messed-up it has always been and how Jericho believes is his responsibility to stop his deranged father, it showcase many of the same themes Priest has been exploring during his tenure in this book and emphasizes the evil side of Slade.
Then again, things might not be as they seem since there's a strange cliffhanger that might be hinting at something more, something that will hopefully deliver a satisfying conclusion for this solid run. The rest of the cast also receive strong moments.
Fernando Pasarin handles the art and is pretty good looking with a lot of expression and detail.
Good read, hope the final issue is appropriate.
