What are Perpetua's plans?
The Legion of Doom has finally won or at least they think so since their leader might have other roles for them in mind.
This offered a few interesting moments at least.
Scott Snyder delivers a new chapter where he gives a few characters what they deserve. It turns out that, to not many people's surprise, Perpetua doesn't have the best interests in mind even for her own servants this leads to some compelling character moments for Lex Luthor... but not much for everyone else since the rest of the villains are portrayed as pathetic pawns which reminds me a bit of how Mark Waid used to write antagonists (and this comes to mind because of how much this storyline reminds me of Underworlds Unleashed).
The plot progresses appropriately and is apparently preparing all the heroes for the final battle at last. There are awkward lines and the usual overwritten dialogue but is not too bothersome.
Francis Manapul and Howard Porter handle the art and they are the highlight thanks to their vibrant style and solid storytelling.
Not bad but not sure what to expect next.
