Who is the new enemy of the Metal Men?
The Nth Metal has taken a new form and now is willing to destroy everything on its path, including Will Magnus' creations.
Not as interesting as the first one but offers decent progress.
Dan Didio brings a new issue where he explores the idea of how the Nth Metal could affect these characters. As I mentioned before, the premise Didio came up with about how the Metal Men really die instead of being rebuilt was an intriguing one but sadly, that concept is not that expanded here and instead we focus mostly on plot progression. This issue is mostly centered around the Nth Metal which is something logical considering this is the Metal Men we're talking about and Didio offers classic comic book action concerning that.
Plus, there's also a few subtle moments of characterization like how Will Magnus didn't even care about Gold dying which shows how he actually couldn't care less about his creations, depicting him in a much darker side than before. Also, between the action and plot progression, there's a good amount of content here.
Shane Davis remains in art duties and his work is still solid with expressive characters and decent enough storytelling.
Adequate issue, hope the next one is better though.
