Black Lightning will have to find another way to win.
Tobias Whale's plans are coming into fruition and Jefferson will need to do everything in his power to survive but even then, his problems are far from over.
This miniseries comes to a conclusion and I believe does it solidly.
Tony Isabella brings the final chapter where he presents the usual solid characterization and accurate social commentary. The early action scenes are pretty engaging while the writer mocks the idea of Tobias Whale being an one-dimensional villain who starts revealing his plans to the hero which is appreciated at the very least and the way how Jefferson defeats him is satisfying considering the circunstances.
The political tone continues but is not as prominent as previous issues. That being said, it still comes to the logical realization that things don't change from day to another and needs good people to fight bigotry whenever is possible. The last pages also point out towards a sequel which could be interesting.
Clayton Henry and Yvel Guichet handle the art and is once again, quite good looking thanks to the kinetic style and strong action scenes.
Enjoyable overall, wouldn't mind more series like this.
