Kid Amazo is apparently back and is ready to take revenge on both Jon and Damian and his revenge could affect even more people.
Welp, I really need to pay more attention to solicits since this apparently isn't the final issue but it is definitely setting-up the ending.
Peter Tomasi comes with a story that brings us back to the beginning to this book by reintroducing its first villain. The appearance of Kid Amazo makes a lot of sense both in a meta and plot way, particularly because of the events that caused his return which are much darker than what I was anticipating.
The highlight of the issue is still the dynamic between Jon and Damian which after so many adventures they have learned to care for each other a lot and this is especially obvious during one scene where they need to save each which was really well-executed. Speaking of which, guess who they will have to save next?
Carlo Barberi's artwork remains a good fit for the book thanks to his kinetic and expressive style that gets the characters and action perfectly.
Solid read, now let's see if the ending is appropriate.
