Grodd's attack has completely destroyed Central City and Barry believes he's the only one who can save it but he's wrong.
Man, this is a great way to end a great arc.
Joshua Williamson delivers the final chapter of this storyline by once again showing how much he understands these characters. The portrayals of the whole cast are really good thanks the writer offering really strong moments based on their personalities and story, some of them even get their own redemption in some ways. Not to mention that Williamson gives an answer to the "Who is the fastest? Barry or Wally?" in a way that is pretty satisfying.
Plus, the writer is once again planting the seeds for the future with many plot-points being created like Godspeed's fate, Iris and Wally's meeting and the upcoming Flash War which seems to be pretty exciting already.
Carmine Di Giandomenico remains in art duties and his work is still perfect thanks to the vibrant and kinetic style.
Great read, can't wait for the next one.
