Can Jessica Cruz escape from her past?
The death of her friends have been torturing Jessica for years and Singularity Jain could make an offer that she couldn't refuse.
A new storyarc begins in a promising way.
Tim Seeley continues his development of both protagonists this time focusing mostly on Jessica and her classic problems. The characterization is pretty solid due that we see some exploration of Jess' past which could finally give us some revelations about what happened to her friends and create a closure to her struggles.
Of course this doesn't come without a cost and Seeley creates a pretty intriguing development for her thanks to the early antagonist he presented, Singularity Jain, and her ability to dwelve into the darkest thoughts of her victims. The issue concludes in a way that was telegraphed but still logical.
Ronan Clicket handles the art and is really good looking thanks to the clean style and attractive characters.
Good read, hope the next one arrives soon.
