Some thoughts about Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #52

Megatron is about to face two of his greatest adversaries.

Tarn can't stand the idea of Megatron losing his will to fight and he's decided to make him return to his old ways. However, more terrifying beings are about to appear with even worse objectives.

Okay, some things worked and others not so much.

James Roberts delivers a new chapter of the finale from this season by focusing on several segments including the encounter between Rachet, Drift and the rest of the Lost Light. This scene works solidly with the character work being well-executed and some scenes like the ones between Rodimus and Drift didn't disappoint after how anticipated they were.

The same also goes for the battle between Megatron and Tarn which shows how much Megatron has changed during his time with the rest of the crew, the development is pretty clear here and I've no complaint about it.

On the other hand, I have complaint about how... a character who everyone thought he was dead reappears pretty much out of nowhere with very little explanation of how it happened. I mean, I wanted him to reappear but not exactly in this manner.

Alex Milne continues to handle art duties and his work is still pretty good with expressive characters and a beautiful cartoony style.

Solid for the most part I would say but a few things really bothered me.
