Some thoughts about Teen Titans #19

The Teen Titans will have to fight to revive Cassie's father.

Cassandra has promised everyone that she can return Lennox to life and even Diana is starting to trust her. However, things will become more problematic quite fast.

This little storyarc concludes and I more or less wish Greg Pak would continue on this title.

I'm not going to tell you that this story has been mindblowing or anything but compared to what came immediately before, is definitely an improvement. The characterization is solid with every member of the cast acting the way they should and demonstrating competent moments and little lines from their dialogue can tell a lot about their histories.

The plot progresses satisfactorily which includes a twist almost at the end which makes you start questioning before but it works for the most part.

Ian Churchill and Alvaro Martinez share the pencils here and their work is solid with Martinez being the most consistent artist due that his character models look more polished.

Nothing spectacular but it was still a readable storyline. I'm not hoping a lot from the future creative team though.
