Some thoughts about Justice League #49

The Justice League's last stand is here.

Now that most of the team has been mind-controlled, the Crime Syndicate is here to help them but they may make things only worse once that Superwoman's baby is born.

Still entertaining my good Darkseid War.

Geoff Johns continues his epic storyline by making every member of the cast clash and developing all the sub-plots he created during this arc and even before. The way how Wonder Woman handles everything is pretty on-point and manages to be true to her character while the rest of the team have their own time in the spotlight and even little moments like the ones between Scot and Barda show a lot about their personalities.

The action is pretty good with a great sense of pacing and every scene offers an exciting battle. This issue in particular also offers a lot of content and a lot of it is entertaining.

Jason Fabok return to art duties and he still demonstrates to be one of the best aspects of this book thanks to his gorgeous style that is huge in scale.

Consistent as usual, hope the next one gives even more revelations.
