Some thoughts about Martian Manhunter #11

Worlds are about to die.

The different personalities of J'onn are trying to stop Ma'lefa'ak from causing any more damage to planets but not all of them will be able to survive the attack.

Yeaaah, this is definitely not working.

Rob Williams delivers a new chapter where he is starting to close the door of his work here but I don't think he does it in an effective way. For one, Mister Biscuits dies in a pretty quick and unsatisfying way (off panel in fact) and while he does show some moments after it, they're not enough to justify such an abrupt and poorly executed moment. Also, several characters from the supernatural side of the DCU appear like Constantine and Zatanna but they're inclusion is not really relevant to the plot since they barely do anything. Finally, the pacing can be pretty awkward at times.

Speaking of the pacing, it becomes a bit problematic especially considering that there's not much content per se in this issue. Things happen way too quickly.

Ben Oliver handles the artwork and is not bad but a bit too simple at times with very little backgrounds and not enough beauty to compensate.

Waiting for the end and hoping that at least it will bring something good.
