Some thoughts about Batgirl #51

Batgirl's life as she knows it is about to end.

Barbara has been suffering a lot of attacks recently and she thinks the best way to handle it is by improving herself, the problem is that she will have to leave a lot behind to do so.

Well, this is coming to a conclusion and they're certainly preparing for it.

Brenden Fletcher goes solo this time and delivers a chapter where he focuses on some of the usual villains that Barbara tends to face but at the same time showing how everything that has happened lately in affecting her. The characterization is on-point with Babs showing some logical developments after all she had to live and the rest of the cast also get pretty good moments.

Most importantly though, this storyarc is planting the seeds for the new Batgirl title where Babs will have to travel to others places and gives an explanation that makes sense. This being connected to Gotham Academy makes things even more entertaining.

Eleondra Carlini, Minkyu Yung and Roger Robinson share the pencils and their work looks pretty good individually but the different styles clash a bit over the course of the story.

Solid overall, at least this is giving a sense of closure.
