Some thoughts about Red Lanterns #40

Guy Gardner thinks that he can save the world from the rage but is that all true?

With the help of his sister, Guy is trying to protect the people from the influence of the red ring. However, she will make him learn that's not the only way to save humanity.

This issue marks the conclusion of this series so does it works as satisfying finale?

Well, I would say so.

Landry Walker closes his work on this title with a final chapter where he still explores the concepts of rage and implements a solution to the problem that is actually pretty logical and it fact is connected to the work that Charles Soule did in the Futures End tie-in.

The characterization remains solid with Guy still feeling culprit due to the events that happened in the past but ultimately offering a more understandable side.

The ramifications of this conflict seems to be quite interesting so far and they promise a new direction for Guy Gardner which hopefully will be revealed soon.

Jim Calafiore handles the pencils and his work is as expressive and detailed as you would expect with some really good looking scenes.

Solid ending for the book, sad about the fact that is concluding though.
