Some thoughts about Red Hood and the Outlaws #40

The Outlaws are about to face one of their most dangerous enemies.

Helspont has just arrived on earth and he's decided to destroy everyone in his way. How will the team be able to stop such a powerful being?

Yet another conclusion of a title and sadly I feel like they could have done much more with it.
Scott Lobdell brings the kind of solid characterization he has been creating since issue 1, the writer gets all the members from the cast and all of them received a nice portrayal.

Then again, many of the things that happened here were kinda underwhelming like Blackfire, Helspont and the final fate of the team. It feels pretty rushed for an ending and kinda anticlimactic at times, not to mention that the final words were a bit cring-worthy.

Tom Derenick is in charge of the pencils and the result is decent for the most part but not spectacular, he follows the story nicely but the art doesn't look that beautiful.

Kind of a disappointing ending. Hope that the upcoming Red Hood/Arsenal book delivers a better job.
