Some thoughts about Teen Titans #8

The fame is starting to get into the Teen Titans' heads.

After saving the city from a complete disaster, the team is getting more attention that they could have imagined. The problem is that could turn into negative attention pretty quickly and it could end in the worst way possible.

Once again, I really enjoy how these stories have been connected.

Will Pfeifer is bringing all of the plot-points he has been developing over the course of his run in this issue where he plays with the ramifications of the team becoming suddenly famous.

All of them start to get praised for everything but at the same time they're also being manipulated not only by social media but also by Manchester Black who still has a hidden agenda for the group.

The story is also quite dense with several sub-plots and hints about where the story is going being introduced and all of them are nicely executed.

Plus, the return of an old member is being teased.

Keneth Rocafort returns to pencils and his work continues to be quite creative, vibrant and gorgeous and makes every layout pretty unique.

Solid, solid issue. Still loving where this is going.
