Some thoughts about New Suicide Squad #7

The Suicide Squad is still trying to survive the forces of another country.

Amanda Waller is still guiding the Squad but she's not willing to let them commit any more mistakes and their problems are still increasing.

Goddammit, I can't stand this.

This series has become so pointless and dull lately, if it doesn't suffer from boring stories, it suffers from bad characterization.

This issue sadly, has both flaws. Harley continues to be poorly portrayed while other characters like The Reverse-Flash act quite differently from how they were depicted in other books. The only characters that are decently charcterized are Black Manta and Captain Boomerang and those are not really mindblowing either.

The cliffhanger is also pretty weak and the overall plot doesn't progress much.

Worst part of this continues to be the artwork, Tom Derenick is in charge of the breakdowns while Rob Hunter and Vicente Cifuentes finish the job. The sections made by Cifuentes are okay but ones done by Hunter are terrible looking with really ugly characters.

Awful issue once again, hope that there's a creative change soon.
