Recommendations from Comixology's DC Graphic Novel Sale

Yes, they're doing yet another sale immediately after the Azzarello one, not that I'm complaining (I'm getting poor!).

Anyway, here is a quick list about what to get:

  • Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: Frank Miller did this before he went crazy so you know it must be good.
  • Batman: Year One: Ditto as the last one.
  • All-Star Superman: Grant Morrison, Frank Quitely, a winning duo.
  • Batman: The Killing Joke: Another excellent story written by Moore that no Joker fan can miss.
  • Kingdom Come: Written by Mark Waid and drawn by Alex Ross this Elseworlds story has become a classic.
  • The Joker: By Brian Azzarello and is my favorite Joker story ever.
  • Identity Crisis: Written by Brad Meltzer, is a fantastically told mystery story that plays with the history of the DCU.
  • Green Lantern: Rebirth: The beginning of Geoff Johns' GL epic.
  • Blackest Night: The high point of Geoff Johns' GL.
  • Batman: Earth One: A wonderful Elseworlds story focusing on a new Batman and the best of the Earth One books by far.
  • Batman: The Long Halloween: Written by Jeph Loeb, is one of the best mystery stories on the franchise.
  • Batman: Hush: Not essential but still a fun story created by Loeb and has some of the best Jim Lee art that you will find.
*whew*
