Some thoughts about Suicide Squad #26

Kamo, the Hawaiian Shark God, has been released and he will have to answer to his son King shark.

Amanda Waller has a pretty dark past which consists in the sacrifice of others to save the world but now she's about to die at the hands of the enraged God and the only person who can save her is the demented James Gordon Jr.

Another great issue of Matt Kindt's run on the series. Kindt is able to start building the history of Belle Reve along with Waller's past by connecting their similar objectives, I have also need to mention James Gordon Jr.'s charactertization which is by far the best portrayal he has received recently.

And this issue was content packed as hell, Kindt has been delivering a lot of story in each issue but this one felt even denser than usual, everytime that I thought that the issue was going to end I realized that I still had more pages to read.

Patrick Zircher continues his fantastic widescreen artwork but unfortunately this time he wasn't able to complete the whole issue and was assisted by Roger Robinson in the last few pages. Thankfully, the book conserved the same style despite of the change.

Quite satisfactory read and the final page was quite exciting too.
