Who is Mother Soul?

Damian has finally figured out the true nature of the person manipulating this tournament and this will lead him to the ultimate fight with the most powerful warrior in the island.

And things are definitely going somewhere now.

Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where multiple plot-points are being developed. The identity of Mother Soul is finally revealed and is definitely an interesting twist that is logical and creates a much deeper connection to Damian (and might even possibilities for future characters), the themes about violence and murder and nicely explored here as well despite being quite obvious and there's even an ongoing little mystery concerning Respawn's identity.

But of course, this book is also about the big fights and Williamson definitely delivers in that regard with fast paced action and exciting battles against Respawn and Flatline, showing how much Damian has learned and is great build-up to the final fight against Connor Hawke which I'm really anticipating.

Gleb Melnikov and Max Dunbar share the pencils and their work is pretty solid over the course of the read with expressive characters and kinetic action.

Good read, can't wait for the next one.
