Some thoughts about Deathstroke Inc. #2

Can Deathstroke survive in space?

The next mission of the team if hunting the Cyborg Superman who has plans that could affect reality itself but this could only be the beginning of something much bigger.

Less plot-oriented than last issue but still fun.

Joshua Williamson offers a new installment that is very action-focused. The premise of "Deathstroke in Space" is pretty fun in and of itself and the writer knows how to exploit such idea and not take it seriously. Mind you, I still don't quite dig how much Deathstroke sounds like Deadshot since I prefer Slade to be more serious but still the dynamic with both Black Canary and Toyman compensates a bit for that.

The story is kinda barebones though. Cyborg Superman's plans are a bit interesting and there's a certain plot-point that will play an important role in the future I'm sure but other than that, there's very little content here, not even Slade's condition is really mentioned despite of how much of a deal it was last chapter.

Howard Porter's artwork is always great though, very vibrant and packs a lot of detail in every page.

Decent overall. Hopefully next issue offers more.
