Some thoughts about Teen Titans #39

How can the Teen Titans save Djinn?

Elias has captured his little sister and now the team has to find a way to free her but they will need some unconventional help to do so.

A pretty competent read overall.

Adam Glass is accompanied by Robbie Thompson to deliver a new chapter where there are quite a few developments. This is the beginning of a new arc where we finally see the confrontation with Elias, the first genie (something that has been teased many issues ago) and the idea that he's collecting genies to gain power allows for the surprising appearance of a character that I really wasn't expecting but it makes sense considering their connection.

The dynamics between the team continues to be the highlight with a lot of fun conversations between all of them showcasing how different their relationships are with one another and the story ends in an interesting cliffhanger too.

Eduardo Pansica handles the art and is pretty solid with expressive characters and clear storytelling.

Good content and an enjoyable issue as a whole, nice work.
