Who is coming after the Metal Men now?
O.M.A.C. has suddenly appeared to attack Lead and Tin but he's far from the worst problem they have to face right now.
This worked a little better I believe.
Dan Didio offers a new installment where he plays with quite a few old ideas. The appearance of O.M.A.C. makes sense considering Didio's own involvement on the New 52 series and he apparently gets some appropriate send-off (although I'm not sure if this will last). The most surprising aspect here is the inclusion of Mother Machine who seemed very familiar to me at first and then I remembered that she was introduced in the Legends of Tomorrow miniseries written by the late Len Wein which I liked quite a bit, this is something that I can appreciate about Didio, that he references stuff that happened before and at the same time, pays respect to Wein's work.
There's a decent amount of content too and some interesting developments concerning other characters in the cast which makes me kinda intrigued about what's going to happen next. If there's a complaint here is that the dialogue can be a bit blunt at times but doesn't really ruin the read.
Shane Davis' art is decent, not to the most beautiful around but the style is appropriate and tells the story clearly enough.
Good read, hope things stay this way.
