How can Superman beat Mongul?
Clark has fallen and the supposed unity between the planets is not working, and things are not going any better on Earth.
Another atrocious read.
And I don't think I'm being too harsh on this one since Brian Bendis' dialogue is getting really asphyxiating, particularly during the scenes on Earth where the whole Daily Planet is discussing the new status quo about Clark and I didn't think Bendis could make a story about Superman revealing his true identity to the world boring but he found the way, the word balloons jumping from point to point are really obnoxious and tiring to follow.
The action scenes in space are barely more interesting but still they suffer from overexposition and once that you start thinking about it, you realize that the plot hasn't moved much despite of the overwritten parts.
Ivan Reis' is great but he's quite frankly wasted here since most of the stuff he draws is covered by a lot of dialogue.
Skip this, skip it until it's over.
