New threats are coming.
Zealot continues her mission against the secret menace that is coming to Earth while Mike is trying to figure out what to do with his life now that the end is near.
Another issue and another example of slow progression.
Mind you, that doesn't necessarily mean that this is bad. Warren Ellis continues his story about the different characters and sequences that are occurring during this overarching plot. Everything is following a pretty meticulous path where every character who appears here serves an important purpose. The way how classic aspects from the Wildstorm universe like the Daemons are introduced is pretty promising and interesting while several members of the cast offer an interesting perspective about the whole situation.
That being said, the plot remains slow as a snail with the main story mostly moving through the key players that appear here and while that allows for solid character moments, it doesn't give you too much payoff for the progress of the book itself.
Jon Davis-Hunt remains in art duties and his work is still quite solid with expressive characters and a lot of attention to detail.
Again, not a bad read but more relevant points need to start occurring.
