Some thoughts about Hal Jordan & the Green Lantern Corps #22

Can the Green Lantern Corps deal with something that could destroy their entire organization?

The Green Lanterns and the Sinestro Corps are finally being able to work together but there are still troubles among their ranks and it will become even more obvious once that an old enemy reveals bigger concerns.

A new storyline is about to start and so far is on the right path.

Robert Venditti opens a new chapter where he focuses equally on character work and plot-progression. The writer continues the long-term development between the Green and Yellow Lanterns by showing how well they start to cooperate in their missions, the best part of this is that all occurred naturally based on the many previous chapters and so this progression is pretty logical.

The characterization is still quite solid thanks to the many sub-plots devoted to the members of the cast and most of them receive the time they deserve. Plus, the mystery the starts this new arc is a pretty intriguing and promising one.

Ethan Van Sciver returns to art duties and his work is still perfect for the book thanks to his attention to detail and strong storytelling.

Great issue, excited for the next one.
