Superman will have to fight his own son.
Jon is under Manchester Black's control and Clark will have to stop him no matter the risk.
This storyarc has come to a conclusion and is a pretty solid one all things considered.
Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason offer the finale of this storyline that has been building-up for a while by delivering the usual strong aspects of the book. Once again, the family dynamics continue to shine even in the most desperate situations by exploring how much the Superman family cares for each other. Depicting a lot appropriate moments between Clark, Jon and Lois, the writers know how to portray the relationship inside a family in subtle and not so subtle scenes.
The fight against Black proves to be an entertaining one and the ramifications of it presents pretty logical and even comedic segments involving all the characters that appeared here. Really satisfying way to end the arc.
Both Gleason and Doug Mahnke are in charge of the pencils and their work is stunning during their respective scenes being able to maintain a consistent and powerful style.
Great ending and I'm hoping the following stories are just as entertaining.
