Some thoughts about New Suicide Squad #21

The Suicide Squad's last stand is here.

Deadshot has apparently been killed and is up to the rest of the team to find a way to survive. However, some of them will not be able to do so.

This little story is officially over and I'm really sad for it.

Tim Seeley brings the last chapter of his story by focusing on several of the developments that he has created during this arc. The characterization works nicely as ever with each member of the cast acting the way they should and some of them offering nice surprises like Deadshot's reaction to his death and Captain Boomerang coming to the rescue, is such a nice issue full of great and fun moments.

The dialogue and style gets the best of this thanks to the amount of personality that the author is able to inject in each segment and conversation being able to demonstrate how great these characters are.

Gus Vasquez handles the artwork and is pretty solid with expressive characters and a storytelling reminiscent to the already established tone of the arc.

Really enjoyable, wish we would have gotten more of this.
