Some thoughts about Teen Titans #21

The Teen Titans will have to deal with the person culprit of everything.

Monsieur Mallah and the Brain are attacking the city after an internet troll made fun of villains like them. Now is up to team to stop them and teach that terrible troll a lesson.

Yeaaah, from this premise you can realize what exactly went wrong.

Tony Bedard takes this story as an opportunity to makes fun of "trolls" who make fun of other people. Let alone the fact that the irony completely went over Bedard's head, this ultimately feels like a quite self-indulgent issue since a lot of people dislike Bedard's work due to his overall mediocrity and this most likely is his answer to them.

And if you think that Bedard tries to take this into a balanced way you just have to check once the team helps the troll and just consider him not worthy of their time despite that the only thing he did was make fun of people who did bad things. Yeah, this totally not a revenge fantasy.

Miguel Mendoca handles the artwork and is decent enough with expressive characters and strong action scenes.

Other than that, boy, this is a kinda bitter issue overall. Not recommended.
