Some thoughts about Deathstroke Inc. #7

Who is Respawn?

Slade is finally ready to reveal the identity of Respawn to Slade thinking their connection could fix their problems but what she doesn't know is that Slade is already on a path of darkness.

Well, things went a bit differently from what I was expecting.

Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where he brings some answers. I genuinely thought that Respawn was going to be a resurrected Grant Wilson because of all the hints but it turns out that is someone closer to Slade than I expected, funnily enough, that connection between Respawn and Grant still works because of Slade's feelings about them which creates solid character development for everyone involved, better than anything that I've seen in this series so far in fact.

I also appreciate Williamson's ability to connect each of his series in a logical and natural way, a lot of the plot-points he created in Robin continue here while others he created in Batman follow suit. This is all in preparation for the little event is coming soon and for the much greater crossover that is Dark Crisis. Is a well-done set-up.

Stephen Segovia's artwork is solid with a kinetic style that depict every action scene with a lot of energy.

Solid chapter, hope the upcoming events deliver.
