Some thoughts about Justice League Incarnate #3

The team has been lost across the Multiverse.

In the search for Darkseid, Calvin and the rest of the heroes have arrived in other worlds that resemble both reality and cartoons, and if they want to escape they will have to do what they never thought.

Getting better overall.

Joshua Williamson and Dennis Culver offer a new installment where they travel around many interesting worlds in the Multiverse. This is probably the most creative and fun chapter yet because the writers depict both the cartoony universe of Captain Carrot and go even full Meta in an universe where DC Comics are being published and even introduce a character who supposedly works as editor at the company, all of this comes with a twist though.

There's a lot of content here because of the different settings they explore and deliver good character work over the course of the issue based on the distinct situations. The plot itself also progresses quite a bit because the team realizes that their mission about hunting Darkseid is going to change drastically if they want to save the Multiverse which is what Williamson originally wanted to do during his Justice League Odyssey run.

Oh, and about other fun references, I love how Williamson apparently hates the Batman who Laughs and can't wait to get rid of him entirely.

Ariel Olivetti, Nik Virella, Todd Nauck, Mikel Janin and Andrei Bressan depict a different reality each and their different artstyles definitely fit in such tone.

Good read, hope things stay this way.
