Some thoughts about Deathstroke Inc. #3

Deathstroke is about to arrive to a fantasy world.

Cheetah has escaped reality to create a place where she can rule and Slade's mission is to destroy all of it but by doing so, he will uncover a truth about the people he's working with.

Getting more and more interesting.

Joshua Williamson offers a new installment that works nicely as a standalone story but even better as a set-up piece for future stories. The premise about Cheetah creating a realm for herself reveals a lot of her personality and how much she envies Wonder Woman about her position but on the other hand, I wish this would have been explored more profoundly to give a much deeper portrayal but overall, what we have here is fine. Not to mention that this delivers many fun moments of Deathstroke acting like a violent knight.

The more important aspect here though, are the plot-points being developed. Williamson being Williamson he offers his classic continuity references including mentions of Dinah's mother and her past with the JSA and more importantly, the reintroduction of an important villain we haven't seen since Final Crisis more than a decade ago which gives this a more Multiversal importance.

Howard Porter remains in art duties and his work is still powerful and detailed when needed. Plus, his designs for the fantasy realm is pretty pleasent to see.

Great issue, can't wait for the next one.
