Can Adam Strange forgive or be forgiven?
The Pykkts murdered Aleea Strange and this might condone Adam's actions in some people's eyes but not for the person who has been following his case all this time.
Well, there's a lot to unpack here.
Tom King is definitely bringing more content to each issue thankfully and this is one of the densest reads yet. The way how the story progresses is the classic parallels between the past and present except that this is the closest they have gotten yet with each segment taking place in Rann for the most part and showing how complicated the battle against the Pykkts got before and the ramifications that the protagonist is facing for them now.
More interesting though, is how the other characters react to the recent revelations, particularly Mister Terrific is simply not willing to accept Adam's actions despite of how justified they might seem to others which is bound to create interesting developments once that we get closer to the end. Not to mention that Alanna keeps showing her manipulative side by controlling the media which makes her seem a little suspect at this point.
Mitch Gerads and Doc Shaner remain in art duties and their work is still wonderful during their respective sections with realistic and vibrant tones over the course of the read.
Good issue, can't wait for the next one.
