Can the Hawks face their old master?
Carter and Shiera have met the Lord Beyond the Void, the one who put them on this path of reincanations and now they chances of survival are minimal.
A little better but just a little.
Robert Venditti delivers a new chapter where he seems to be getting closer to the end of the journey. The introduction of the Lord Beyond the Void should be enough of a hint for that due that his presence has been felt pretty much since the beginning of Venditti's run and the encounter between the Hawks and him is nicely done with decent character moments and well-paced action.
That being said, this issue still felt a little devoid of content. Sure, nice character beats and fight scenes but there was little plot progression and it seems like not a lot happened during this chapter which has been the case for a while in this book.
Marco Castiello handles the art and is pretty solid with expressive characters and beautiful layouts.
Decent enough but the next one better have more.
