Can Lois Lane survive?
The killer who has been targeting Lois all this time is closer than ever but her friends believe the solution is in another dimension.
Yeah, that summary doesn't really make that much sense right? That's for a good reason.
Greg Rucka provides a new chapter where he finally offers more content and plot progression but that comes with a catch. The best parts of this installment are the character bits once again, especially the dynamic between Lois and Clark that show interesting moments in their relationship.
The rest is all a mixed bag. You see, Rucka did finally decide to move this mystery. THE PROBLEM is that he decided to do so by including elements like magic and different realities which clashes terribly with the semi-realistic tone and themes he has been implementing over the course of this book. Sure, there were a few impossible things here and there but I thought that Rucka would at least try to give most of it a believable enough explanation but then the alternate Earths come out of nowhere and I wonder what happened to this plot.
Mike Perkins remains in art duties and again, I like his semi-realistic style he provides but considering the direction this story took, I'm not sure if it fits here anymore.
Mixed bag as a whole. Not sure what to expect next.
