Some thoughts about The Flash #754

What can stop Paradox?

Barry has decided to ask The Reverse-Flash for help against their new enemy but not even their combined forces might be enough.

The story continues and proves to be a decent one.

Joshua Williamson offers a new chapter where he focuses on the dynamic between Barry and Eobard. It works in an appropriate way due that Williamson once again builds upon what was previously established about The Reverse-Flash in a way that makes sense, particularly his obsession to be seen as The Flash's successor. Williamson even gives an explanation for one of the forgotten aspects of Geoff Johns' Rebirth interpretation, The Reverse-Flash's Lightning Rod (Mind you, I thought the original was all about how Speedsters need a loved one to be their Lightning Rod to keep them out of the Speed Force and Thawne needed an artifact because he never loved anyone).

The plot progresses at a fast pace and showcases a few interesting moments of the title's history. The escalation towards the end is solidly done after the team-up between the two rivals reaches its inevitable end.

Rafa Sandoval handles the art and is solid with a pretty flexible and energetic style. Although for some reason the dialogue is often confusing because it seems like at times Barry is speaking for Thawne and vice versa (Not Sandoval's fault though).

Good read, hope the next one arrives soon.
