Can Djinn be free?
The team is bound to stay in hell if Djinn doesn't find her true power and stop Elias once for all.
This run comes to a conclusion and seems like a solid one.
Adam Glass is closing the door concerning all the ideas and characters he has been working on since he arrived on the book. The action and pacing are pretty fast thanks to the multiple fight scenes which lead to the encounter against Elias that reaches an appropriate conclusion. There are also decent character moments here and there as always.
The most important event comes towards the end though once that the team realizes that Damian's actions were taken too far and there's no way that things can stay the way they did before which is building-up to Robbie Thompson's upcoming run.
Mind you, I feel like Glass' solo previous storyarcs worked better as an actual finale and this last storyline is mostly to make Thompson accustomed to the series but the plot still feels fitting despite of all this.
Eduardo Pansica handles the art and is decent with expressive characters and clear storytelling.
Good ending, hope the next run is just as enjoyable.
