Darkseid can't be stopped.
Jessica is still trying to figure out how to save her friends despite that one by one are falling. Now their only hope is to travel back in time.
Yeah, Darkseid can't be stopped since this story just can't finish.
This book can't stop being a bore either.
Dan Abnett offers a new installment and pretty much continues the same direction despite of the delays and this is for the worse. The new characters continue to be as dull as possible no matter the high concepts that Abnett tries to inject into the plot, speaking of which, such concepts are explained with a lot of detail to the point that it feels like overexposition and there's more talking than actual progression and depth.
Seriously, I don't think anything actually progressed here despite of the amount of dialogue there is. Darkseid's forces are not close to being stopped and Jessica is still rather incompetent at trying to defeat him. This arc took way too long without any appropriate development.
Cliff Richards remains in art duties and his work is still solid with expressive characters and precise storytelling.
Aside from that, I'm just expecting for the end of this book.
