Some thoughts about Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #48

Skids can't remember all the details about his past, that might be for the better though.

Rung is currently helping Skids to try to recover his memories but the recent arrival of an old colleague will put the therapy on hold and also could be dangerous for everyone.

This was solid overall but not as good as I was hoping for.

James Roberts brings a new chapter where he continues immediately where the last one ended but sadly, he doesn't really focus on the ramificactions of Tailgate's reaction to Cyclonus apparent death nor Getaway's betrayal, the latter is solved pretty quickly and in a kinda unsatisfying way while the former is still in proccess which after the emotional last issue, is a bit underwhelming.

Most of the chapter is in fact concentrated on Skids and his memories. The thing about this is that for a while it seemed like the character was at peace with his own state and now we're back to him feeling depressed about it. This is most likely because new developments needed to happen but it feels a bit out of place.

There are some interesting ideas being implemented though and definitely intriguing revelations.

The art by Hayato Sakamoto is beautiful and quite reminiscent of Alex Milne's style, the cartoony and expressive look works wonderfully for every scene.

Far from being bad but I wish a few things would have gone differently.
