Some thoughts about Gotham Academy #13

The war is about to arrive in Gotham Academy.

The Robins are starting to get persecuted everywhere and some of them will have to find some place to be safe and is up to both Olive and Maps to help, no matter if they have to handle their own typical problems.

Robin War tie-in as you may have already guessed and it actually works quite nicely.

Brenden Fletcher goes solo in this story and focuses on how the whole academy deals with the Robin threat but is not really that relevant to the plot to be honest. Riko, one of the characters from We Are Robin appears here but other than that, you could call this a classic Gotham Academy tale.

Which means that pretty weird stuff happens like the appearance of a strange zombie who starts to scare everyone. The chapter is pretty fun overall and manages to be an one-and-done that also play with the overaching plot of the series. It has pretty good content too, there are tons of scenes here.

Adam Archer handles the artwork and his style is not bad but is not so great either, is basically cartoony but it lacks some kind of refinement. At least it tells the story solidly enough.

Enjoyable issue, not bad for being part of a crossover.
