Some thoughts about Justice League #46

The war is at its worse point.

The New Gods want to cause destruction everywhere now that Darkseid is dead while the Justice League is trying to learn more about the Anti-Monitor to stop him and their only solution could be to deal with old enemies.

Surprised that despite of how long this story is going, is still quite entertaining.

Geoff Johns delivers a new chapter of this event where he focuses on the ramifications of the team gaining God-level status and most of it is centered on Wonder Woman and how she deals with all of this. There's a lot of great characterization for the protagonist in this case and it presents some interesting aspects of it like her history with Steve Trevor.

There are also some good moments for the rest of the cast including Mister Miracle and Big Barda. Johns is going full continuity-fluid here by presenting them as married which means that he's ignoring the events that happened in Earth 2: World's End (which of course, is for the better). It's a quite enjoyable scene overall.

Francis Manapul remains in art duties and his work is still beautiful able to depict each character wonderfully and presenting some memorable scenes.

Entertaining issue once again, let's see where the story goes.
