Some thoughts about Deathstroke Inc. #8

Who is incriminating Deathstroke?

Slade is trying to figure out who actually killed Ra's Al Ghul in his name since now even his own family are going after him.

Shadow War continues and is a fine issue but not much beyond that.

Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where he progresses very little of the event. To compensate though, there are actually solid character moments and interactions, particularly the ones between Slade and Respawn since they show an appropriate dynamic based on Slade's history with his children. Batman and Talia also get decent scenes because of their complicated relationship.

However, the plot doesn't reveal much about who is actually behind all of this and is pretty much just filler to set-up all the other characters for the next chapter in the crossover. Wasn't expecting much since this is Williamson's weakest book but is still kind of a letdown.

Paolo Pantalena remains in art duties and his work is still solid with angular character models and a kinetic style that depicts action scenes nicely.

Passable but I hope the next one is better.
