Can the Question trust his own memories?
Charlie can't help but reminisce previous lives just when he's investigating a case that might be connected to all of them.
The mystery is unfolding.
Jeff Lemire returns with a new chapter where he dwells into both real and supernatural events. The first half of the plot is focused on the new investigation Charlie needs to handle concerning the mysterious red-haired woman that appears in his thoughts and to be honest, that's the least interesting part of the chapter, is not bad but it pales in comparison to the more bizarre events that happen later.
The story really takes off once that memories of other times start appearing in Charlie's mind all of them leading to the strange events that happened in the previous two issues and are being repeated here. The mystery is not fully revealed yet but there are clues here and there about where it's going while the protagonist is much more aware about what's really happening.
Denys Cowan handles the art and once again, is a nice fit for the grim and gritty tone of the plot and offers a lot of detail along with precise storytelling.
Good chapter, hope the next one offers more revelations.
