Some thoughts about Batman/Superman #17

In which reality are Batman and Superman now?

Bruce and Clark have fallen into the Archive of Worlds forced to live in universes that slowly start clashing with one another, all of this to create a true perfect world.

Still pretty interesting so far.

Gene Luen Yang delivers a new chapter where he continues the premise of playing with old films featuring the Golden Age versions of Superman and Batman. The characterization is pretty sound despite of the characters basically being different incarnations of their classic selves and their interactions are pretty entertaining, particularly when both Robin and Lois Lane are involved as well.

The creativity keeps increasing with some of the characters basically playing roles in each movie and is great seeing how both universes start to merge with each other which emphasized once that Superman villains like Lex Luthor and the Parasite start looking like Batman villains and both the Joker and the Penguin start to resemblance Superman Rogues. Is pretty entertaining to see.

Plus, as usual from Yang's work, you can expect a lot of content and fortunately, this is one of the cases where the author actually delivers an enjoyable experience all-around.

Ivan Reis' art is magnificent thanks to his beauitiful characters and the storytelling that makes each panel look like it belongs in old film.

Great read, hope the conclusion is solid.
