Superman's world is getting destroyed.
Clark is investigating a strange event in Metropolis but what he doesn't know is is that the person who destroyed Krypton is not done with his job yet.
This was a quite short chapter but it worked in some ways.
Brian Bendis continues his story about redefining Superman's history and I have to say that I continue to enjoy the parts that are not focusing on the main plot. The way how Superman interacts with Batman by investigating a mystery is really enjoyable and in the same vein as how Peter Tomasi did it previously which creates a good sense of continuity along with fun times. Bendis knows how to not take a serious character like Batman seriously.
While I still don't like the central event that much in terms of premise, I still digged how is presented, particularly the way how the villain destroys one of the most important parts of Superman's history which escalates the plot to the inevitable conflict really well. Is short but gets the job done.
Ryan Sook and Jason Fabok share art duties and they do a quite good job during their respective segments thanks to the great storytelling.
Solid chapter, hope the conclusion is good.
