Can different Justice Leagues save the universe?
The Omega Titans are threatening to kill entire planets and now is up to the teams that were created to follow Brainiac's plans before is too late.
Well, this one worked a little better than the last one.
Scott Snyder, Joshua Williamson and James Tynion IV bring a new installment where they focus purely on the spectacle based on the battle between these JLs and the Omega Titans. The characterization is decent enough but not particularly impressive, their lines tell you the necessary info to know who these people are but it doesn't go beyond that and to be honest, it doesn't make them as interesting as it should (I honestly think that Geoff Johns does a better job with sort of approach).
The ideas are also fine and I guess the fun comes from seeing all these characters together and again, while their interactions are serviceable, they're not that engaging. I assume that what makes this issue better than the last one is that the exposition is not as blunt as before, I mean, there's still a lot of panels explaining things to the reader but work better in the context of the situation are not as abundant. Also, the plot progresses more.
Francis Manapul is accompanied by Marcus To in art duties and their work is pretty consistent as a whole delivering good character models and a fun cosmic fight.
Not bad, not great, please improve more.
