The curse is coming for the entire town.
Joseph has found himself as a monster doomed to destroy the home he swore to save and now his family could be next.
This story continues and still gets a solid job in a few specific aspects.
Justin Jordan another chapter where he explores more of the family dynamics from a different angle. As we learned in the last issue, Joseph has turned into the creature called Brimstone and now his sister and him will have to find the culprit of it. The characterization manages to makes you invested in the siblings due to how close they are and how much they care for each other, once again, the motivations of the protagonist are noble by themselves which contrasts strongly with the events that are happening to him.
The plot is progressing at a slow pace but it still reveals a few key aspects like the intentions of the Salesman, the main antagonist, and what are his plans for the little town where the story takes place. I wish we could have more content but what we have is satisfying overall.
Philip Tan remains in art duties and his work is a bit more efficient here at telling the story while the style is also unique during the supernatural moments.
Solid read, can't wait to see the next one.
