Hal and his team are going to recruit some of their most powerful enemies to face their new rivals but what they don't know is that the Darkstars are doing the same.
This arc continues and still offers surprises along the way.
Robert Venditti delivers a new chapter where he explores many of the different perspectives of the main characters. The characterization is once again pretty solid thanks to how distinct the motivations of the cast are, particularly from the side of the antagonists due that each one of them have their own reasons to join the fight along with the Green Lantern Corps and show an interesting aspect of them.
The issue even offers a few surprises considering the plans that John has to make Zod help him, which is going to have strong ramifications in the future, and how the Darkstars go to the least expected person to recruit.
Ethan Van Sciver's artwork is excellent thanks to the level of detail and complexity he brings to the characters and action scenes.
Good read, hope the arc continues this way.
