Some thoughts about Deathstroke #12

For the sake of his children, Deathstroke will have to fight against his ex-teammates.

The Suicide Squad is now fighting against Slade. However, all of them will realize soon that they have an enemy in common they have to face.

This could have been fun if it wasn't so mediocre.

Tony Daniel and James Bonny continue this silly story where they put Deathstroke against the Suicide Squad while playing with some of the plot-points that were created early in their respective books. The problem is that the execution itself is not really good, the narration lacks personality and uniqueness, the dialogue can be quite bland and blunt to the point that I can't take seriously most of things said here.

Also, the story doesn't seem to be that interesting aside from the random cameos here and there.

The shining point here is the art, Tyler Kirkham has a pretty appealing style that makes all the characters appearing here good looking.

Other than that, you can still avoid this title as much as you want.
