Some thoughts about Red Hood: Outlaw #44

How can Red Hood save an entire nation?

General Glory has hired Jason for a mission while Artemis is handling her own job and all of this is connected.

Yeah, not feeling this one that much.

Scott Lobdell continues this story and despite of the amount of content this issue apparently has, it doesn't progress the plot that much. There are a few things to appreciate like the fact that General Glory, a parody of Captain America, appears here and is given a serious role. There's also the return of the All-Caste mythos that is always appreciated.

However, this issue mostly feels like a set-up for what's about to come and this is weird because there's a lot of dialogue and segments here but most of it retells stuff that we already know to the point of seeming overwritten at points and again, it's just putting all the characters in place.

Paolo Pantalena's artwork is pretty good though with a beautiful and kinetic style that follows the story clearly.

Mixed bag, hope the next one is better.
