Cave Carson will have to find a way to save his loved ones.
In the middle of the fight for their lives, Cave will find someone who is related to him in the strangest way but is this truly what is happening?
I can't believe that I actually missed last issue but I'm glad to be back here.
Gerard Way and Jon Rivera continue the adventures of this group by still going crazy with comic concepts while at the same time being more focused than your usual Young Animal titles. The characterization is once again pretty solid due to the multiple scenes that develop the protagonists in different and subtle ways while presenting emotional moments like the ones where Cave remembers his wife or meet the unexpected.
The story also has a solid pacing that escalates nicely towards twists halfways and at the end which presents the inclusion of classic DC characters whose appearances make a lot of sense considering the nature of the book, although I don't think it fits with current continuity.
Michael Avon Oeming handles the artwork and is once again pretty creative with an unique and flexible style that depicts the script in an unique manner.
Still quite enjoyable, hopefully I will remember to pick this one next time.
